Praise to the Father . . .
In April, at the Oklahoma Baptist Men’s Retreat over 3000 men heard the gospel, and over 150 of those received it for the first time! We continue to pray for and celebrate the 150 families represented by these men, and the fact that the Holy Spirit living in them can give them the power to lead their own hearts and the hearts of their families in godliness. Praise You, Father!
Last week at Camp Copass there were several youth who expressed a desire to live above the difficult circumstances in their lives. Many of them live in homes where parents are wallowing in bondage and are either neglecting to love, or are unable to lead and love and lead their children in the ways of the Lord. We are grateful for Matt’s opportunity to not only lead them in refreshing times of praise and worship, but also counsel and encourage them individually.
Matt’s dad, Tom, was able to complete a stem-cell harvest a few weeks ago and is now home recovering and resting in hopes of receiving those cells back in the next few weeks. We are amazed and grateful that his blood counts were such that he could do a harvest! The maintenance treatment is keeping his counts stable and we are thankful that he is able to spend more days at home in Longview than in Little Rock at this time.
Upcoming Events . . .
June 24-28 Falls Creek, Davis, OK (make sure you go to www.skopos.org and watch the live feed from camp! It will bless you! Services begin each night at 7:45pm.)
Pray for God’s presence to dwell on the campgrounds and the Spirit would have freedom to move in the camp. Pray against hardness in the hearts. Our desire is for openness to the gospel and ears to hear God’s call on their lives! Oh, God, do great things . . . not for our greatness but for the sake of Your great Name!
July 3-4 LifeChurch.tv, Edmond, OK
Matt will lead worship at LifeChurch, OKC campus the July 4th weekend. Pray for God to invade that place with His presence, and for the freedom of the Spirit to overwhelm them as they usher in the presence of God. Go to www.LifeChurch.tv for more information or to watch one of six services online.
July 6-11 Resonate Worship Camp, Oklahoma Baptist University, Shawnee, OK
This is a new opportunity in the state of OK for students to learn about music and how to use it as a means of worship and service to the Lord. Matt is the camp Worship Leader for the week and will have the opportunity to teach young leaders at this camp and we are so blessed by the opportunity.
Finally, a new EP has been released entitled “Hallelujah” with three of Matt’s newest original worship songs. It will be available on iTunes as well as through Matt’s website, www.mattrobersononline.com. A full length project will follow toward the end of August and we are currently booking CD release events – if you would like to host a CD release night of worship, email us at booking@mattrobersononline.com, or go to www.mattrobersononline.com, check the “booking” tab, and fill out your request. All glory to God. We thank God for you and the support in prayer that you offer constantly on our behalf. Continue to intercede…that His Name may be made known through what we do in this ministry. We love you all!
